Old Moon Crescent and Venus April 22 2009

This is completely new for me. I stacked the images taken at 400mm focal length aligning about the crescent. The idea is that Venus can be seen to move closer to the moon which is the case since Occultation happened about 4 hours later but the sun had also risen and blew out any details of the event.
It is a simple trick and does not account for the slight rotation of the moon.
